A concrete mixer has crashed on a busy Sussex road in Heathfield, causing delays in the area. Pictures from the scene show the vehicle lying at the side of the road.
The concrete mixing vehicle has crashed and left the road. However, reports suggest the westbound carriageway has been blocked and highway maintenance workers are at the scene.
The Sussex Traffic Watch Twitter account provided an update about the situation said: "A265 east of Heathfield now part blocked following the earlier road traffic collision involving an overturned HGV."

Traffic is understood to be able to pass the vehicle. However, traffic is queuing in the area.
traffic monitoring service, Inrix states: "A265 Westbound blocked, queueing traffic due to accident around Swife Lane. Sensors show traffic can pass on the eastbound side heading towards Burwash however westbound remains blocked at the moment."
